Paper and pulp industry in kenya contributes 2% to the national GDP, it aslo creates a backward and forward linkages among the other sectors in the economy whether in manufacturing, printing, packaging etc. First paper production in the country started in thr year 1957 thereafter quitea number of mills started operation in the country, now a number of firms are engaged in production of paper .

After the overwhelming responses received from the PAPER ARABIA series of exhibition in Dubai, UAE, we would like to present you an opportunity to tap the North, Eastern & Central African region. Africa continues to grow in the world business map, export-import are always on upswing, high economic growth, big reforms in industrialization, huge foreign direct investment in various sectors, government-private partnerships, development of export processing zones etc.

Moves to liberalize the economy taken over the last ten years have laid the groundwork for an investment-friendly environment in Kenya. The economic recovery strategy is targeted to achieve an 8% growth rate and industrial status for Kenya by 2025. Major export markets for Kenya are Tanzania, Uganda, and Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwand and Ethiopia.
